FSA Broadens Electronic Shifting Horizon
TAICHUNG, Taiwan – Electronic shifting in road race gets an even broader use with FSA’s brand new 11-speed electronic groupset, ‘K-Force WE’. WE stands for Wireless Electronic. It’s what FSA calls ‘hybrid wireless’.
Hybrid wireless means that the front and rear derailleurs and the battery pack are connected via a wire hidden in the driveside chainstays and seat-tube, while the rider-configurable shifters are fully wireless, each powered by a lightweight, long-lasting battery.
K-Force WE is a whole new groupset; from carbon shift levers, front and rear derailleurs, the hidden battery pack, to the redesigned K-Force crankset, chainrings, cassette and newly uprated brakes. The 11-speed system comes with double crankset. Overall weight of the K-Force WE drivetrain is just 2,090 grams.
