Better and Improved Shuttle Bus Service to Hotels

Last year was the first ever Taipei Int’l Cycle Show at new Nangang venue. With the Metro line to Nangang not finished yet, TAITRA organized shuttle busses to take exhibitors and visitors to and from the Show. The same service will be offered this year. However, as the show organizer learned from the 2008 event, the shuttle service is better and improved.

The biggest problem last year was that the busses were crowded and that exhibitors and visitors some times had to wait for the next bus to come. This problem is solved, promised Vice President Walter Yeh.

All Popular Hotels

At a press meeting last December in Taipei he said that the target for the 2009 show is to offer better service with the shuttle busses. There will be more busses going to and from the Nangang venue and all the popular hotels across Taipei. By bus it takes only 15 minutes from the ‘old’ venue to the new Nangang Exhibition Hall.

Next to the bus, exhibitors and visitors can also go by Taipei’s Metro system MRT to the Nangang Exhibition Hall: take the Blue (Bannan) line and get off at Kunyang stop. From it will take another 10 minutes by taxi.

Of course it is also possible to go by taxi to Taipei Cycle. Fares are reasonable. The minimum fare is NT$ 70, increased by increments of NT$ 5. A 20% surcharge will be added between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
