Full House at Taipei Cycle 2009

The opening of the Nangang Exhibition Center last year was the best showcase the Taipei Int’l Cycle Show could imagine. The 2008 edition of this annual show was very successful and has resulted in a growing number of companies who applied for a booth at the 2009 edition of the Taipei Int’l Cycle Show.

A total of 762 domestic and international suppliers will launch their latest innovations here. This year’s 22nd edition is taking place from 17 – 20 March, 2009.

The Taipei Int’l Cycle Show 2009 is divided in three major sections: bicycle parts and accessories, light electric vehicles (LEV) and complete bicycles. The international exhibitors make up a key component of the show and for the biggest part come from the USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Holland, and the UK. A total of 32 countries with 191 exhibitors will be participating.

With bicycles highlighting a shift into a new economy Taipei Cycle is putting its spotlights on one of the most promising segments: electric bikes and all others in LEVs. Show visitors can get a feel by riding them at the Cargo Ramp Test Ride Center, a collective effort of TAITRA, Extra Energy, and ITRI.
