LAGUNA BEACH, CA/USA (4 July 2000)–With 12 weeks to go, the US Interbike
Show has increased its confirmed pre-registration figures for individual
retail stores almost 10% compared to 1999 figures. Show officials credit
exhibitor support, new expo features and continued communication with
retailer attendees for the fantastic response.
“The exhibitors have embraced the new all-on-one-floor show layout. Two
of our new features, the New Product Pavilion and the BMX Zone, are
virtually sold out,” says Michael Baker, marketing manager for Interbike.
“The New Product Pavilion alone houses over 60 companies who have never
exhibited at Interbike.”
Interbike also credits the internet’s ability to reach exhibitors and
retailers with information. Over 50% of all hotel reservations for Interbike
2000 have been done via interbike.com. Interbike plans to enable attendees
to register on-line in early July. (JW)
