Many exhibitors were impressed by the new exhibition site of Eurobike. Introducing the latest in trends and innovations, Eurobike 2002 has set positive signals for the bicycle industry and trade – after a slow bike season.
Some 700 exhibiting companies from 26 countries attended this year. Especially the bike fashion shows attracted much attention, with 141 participating companies. “Eurobike has once again fully confirmed its standing as a key international platform for the bike industry,” CEO Rolf Mohne and Eurobike project manager Willi Schaugg concluded after the show closed its doors. Approximately 670 journalists representing various trade magazines, daily newspapers, radio and television stations from 24 countries visited the tradeshow. Next year’s Eurobike will be held from 28-31 August 2003. (FN)
