FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany (April 14) – As the Fall show season draws closer, Eurobike is setting new records for bookings in both the number of exhibitors as well as the net display space rented. Compared to registration figures this time last year (mid March 2003/2004), Messe CEO Rolf Mohne states: “Booking are showing a 25% increase. This result clearly underscores the leading role Eurobike plays for the international cycling industry. Once again we have been able to pick up even more speed.”
A total of more than 700 exhibiting companies from around the world will be represented at Lake Constance from Thursday September 2 through Sunday September 5, 2004. This means a significantly greater amount of space has been rented in comparison to last year. According to the Messe management, an additional hall has been filled this year. The Open Air Grounds at the East entrance will be livened up even more this year with additional events such as the BMX and Trial Shows. Virtually all market leaders and trend setters will be in Friedrichshafen in September. The trade fair showcases the complete cycling and ancillary industry as well as the bike fashion center. The Fashion Show, the bike party on Saturday and the cycling test course on the Open Grounds are the permanent fixtures in Eurobike’s 2004 supporting programme. (JO)
