Taipei Cycle Show Expands with Outdoor Exhibition Area

YUCHIH, Taiwan – In order to host as much exhibitors as possible the 2011 Taipei International Cycle Show will have an Outdoor Exhibition Area. This was announced at today’s pre-show press conference in Taiwan. Like in 2009 and 2010 the 2011 Taipei Show is fully booked.

The 24th Taipei International Cycle Show will be held from March 16 to 19, 2011. More than 1,000 exhibitors will have their newest products on display. Demands for booths is so high that show organizer TAITRA has extended the venue to the 5th and 6th floors of the Nangang exhibition Hall. However as there are still companies on the waiting list the show organizer recenty received the permission from the Taipei City government to release an outdoor exhibition area. This area will be located at the North side of the Nangang Hall, near the Metro station. Here the show organizer will be able to accomodate 40 to 60 extra exhibitors depending on the floor space of their booths.

TAITRA’s Executive Vice President Peter Huang said at today’s press conference that next to more exhibitors the outdoor exhibition area will also bring more variety to the show. Next to complete bikes and Parts plus Accessories the 2011 Taipei Show will have a strong focus on Light Electric Vehicles.

Taipei Cycle organizer TAITRA further stated today that it will take up to 2015 before the new Nangang Hall number 2 will be finished. At that time the Nangang venue will double its floorspace.
