New Merchandising Program for Shimano and PRO

NUNSPEET, the Netherlands – Shimano Europe BV has introduced its new merchandising program at Eurobike 2011. This flexible program has been designed in cooperation with Shimano Inc. and consists of different easy-to-use displays, fixtures and merchandising tools that can simplify the in-store presentation for all different kind of bike shops through Europe.

Within the program a separation has been made between all different product categories and how to present these products. It contributes to a unified exposure, increased efficiency and maximizes the impact of both Shimano and PRO products on dealers’ sales and profitability.

As the set-up of this program started in 2010, it has been tested in different bike dealers in Europe, spread over the Netherlands, Belgium and France. By the use of these ‘test cases’, the program has been expanded and adjusted before its official launch.

Coming months, Shimano distributors across Europe will offer the different items to their dealers during their dealer shows for 2012. The first delivery of these items to the bike dealers is planned for end of January 2012.
