WFSGI Meeting on UCI Issues At Taipei Cycle

TAIPEI, Taiwan – The World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) invites industry visitors of the Taipei Cycle Show to attend the seminar on the work of the four WFSGI Bicycle Committees.

Promoting and supporting the bicycle industry worldwide, the WFSGI and its bicycle members have further enlarged to 4 different bicycle working groups (Steering, Technical, Wheel and Bicycle CSR Committee) to discuss the specific needs for the industry. In each group, industry experts are discussing, sharing and working on latest topics to have the best output for the bicycle industry.

Technical regulations
The industry has been confronted with new homologation processes and technical regulations by the UCI. Besides the existing rules we have been working on further clarifications and we have been collaborating with the UCI to find solutions for the wheel safety requirement.

About the WFSGI
Since two years the WFSGI gathers the bicycle industry. With more bicycle brands and manufacturers joining the Federation, including new big players such as Mavic, Campagnolo and Schwalbe, the bicycle group has become a powerful group to act with a strong voice towards the UCI and the International Olympic Committee.
