Sustainable 2Wheels Takes Cycling to EU Politicians
BRUSSELS, Belgium – On September 18 the 4th edition of the Sustainable 2Wheels Event will take place on the Esplanade of the European Parliament in Brussels.
The event is a key part of European Mobility Week and will feature even more bikes and other two-wheelers this year for senior policymakers and stakeholders to try out themselves.
Sustainable 2Wheels will gathering senior policymakers, politicians and industry stakeholders to discuss key policy areas such as the 7th Environmental Action Plan and European Urban Mobility Policy. Another leading issue to be discussed is how 2wheel transport solutions can contribute to cleaner, greener, healthier living environments.
The show and test area on the Esplanade of the European Parliament will be also open to the public. Guided by Pro Velo short bicycle tours can be made through Brussels.
Former professional road racer of the TI-Raleigh team Henk Lubberding will participate at this year’s Sustainable 2Wheels. Henk will present, amongst other things, the efforts of the Dutch BOVAG Electric Cycling Team to promote cycling on e-bikes. In short workshops he will learn visitors how to ride an e-bikes.
