Eurobike Success Continues Despite Felt Pull-Out
FRIENDRICHSHAFEN, Germany – In the run-up to the 2015 Eurobike edition, the show organizer reports that the new event Eurobike Media Days which will take place from June 30 to July 2, is well received by the industry.
Nevertheless the show is once again losing one of its main exhibitors. Now Felt distributor Sport Import GmbH will no longer participate in Eurobike. Sport Import will presents the new Felt bikes at a dealer camp early June, as was reported by the German trade website Velobiz. Sport Import is the next exhibitor to pull out of Eurobike after Specialized and Trek.
The decision to relocate the Demo Days to the show ground proofed successful last year. “The first Demo Day in 2014 directly on the show ground was well received by exhibitors and visitors. We want to continue building on this success,” says Project Manager Dirk Heidrich and Show Director Stefan Reisinger. On Tuesday, August 25 more than 150 international exhibitors will make their innovations available to the expert audience for test rides.”
Next to the Demo Day, Eurobike 2015 will include other successful events like the Eurobike Award, the Fashion Show, Travel Talk, and Holiday on Bike. From August 26 to 29, 2015, Messe Friedrichshafen expect some 1,300 exhibitors, 46,000 trade visitors from over 100 countries, 20,000 consumers, and nearly 2,000 journalists to attend Eurobike.
For 2016 Eurobike is moving its dates one week rearwards with the show scheduled from Wednesday, August 31 to Saturday, September 3, 2016.
