Last Call for Taipei Cycle d&i Awards
TAIPEI, Taiwan – Until 30 December 2016, both exhibitors as well as companies that are not exhibiting at Taipei Cycle Show still have the opportunity to register for the competition. Organizer iF International Forum Design especially called for more complete bike designers to enter this year’s competition.
In 2017 the Taipei Cycle Show will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Designers and manufacturers are all invited to enter their products in the competition and bring home a seal of approval in this commemorative year. Because of the celebrations winners will even have more chance to take home the gold award. Four out of eight gold awards will go to the category ‘bikes’.
The preliminary judging panel of the Taipei Cycle d&i awards 2017 will include Edward Chiang of Giant Bicycles Taiwan, Francois Liang of the Cycling & Health Tech Industry R&D Center Taiwan, Ken Hsieh of AOI Cycle Taiwan, Mark Stocker of Direction Design Group Taiwan and Moses Hu of VanMoof BV Taiwan.
The jury will meet in Taipei to access and evaluate all the entries and to selects the winners on January 18-19, 2017. Outstanding designs and/or innovative products have a chance of winning a Taipei Cycle gold award.
All award winning products will be on display during the Taipei Cycle Show from 22 to 25 March 2017. They will also feature in an overseas tour to the CosmoBike Show from 15 – 18 September 2017.
