Sea Otter Europe Announces More Events
GIRONA, Spain – Step by step the Sea Otter Europe reveals its plan for the first edition of the festival next June at the Costa Brava in Spain. It includes a comprehensive line-up of sports and cycle-tourism activities, as well as an extensive exhibition.
According to the festival organization, “the appeal of the event has sparked the interest of the cycling industry, and many exhibition booths have already been reserved. Reserving a booth assures brands a prominent position in the festival.”
The festival activities include top-level races as well as amateur and family events, which will provide everyone the opportunity to tour Girona, the Costa Brava and the Pyrenees. The diverse line-up of events at Sea Otter Europe includes the Biking Point Girona International Catalan Cup, Pirinexus 360 Challenge, Scott Marathon, Trial Cup, Eliminator, Time Trial, BMX and Youth MTB Open, as well as an MTB Ride and Cycle-Tourism Ride. The races will provide participants the opportunity to tour Girona and cycle the breath-taking roads and trails of the Costa Brava and Pyrenees.
Make cycling more accessible
One of the objectives of Sea Otter Europe is to make cycling accessible. As a result, it offers affordable events for families and groups of friends. Such is the case of the MTB Ride, a recreational, non-competitive cycle-tourism ride that covers 50 to 70 km of forest paths. It is an event intended for riders of all levels. As for road cycling enthusiasts, they will soon have the opportunity to register for the Cycle-Tourism Ride.
Sea Otter Europe will take place from June 2 – 4, 2017 and the organizations expects some 20,000 visitors.
