Austrian Bike Show 2016 Moves To Dates Before Eurobike
Fahrrad Ordertage 2nd edition takes place from 21 to 24 August, 2016.

Two years ago Arge Fahrrad, the Austrian association that includes bicycle importers and wholesalers among its membership, decided to cancel its participation of the national trade show ‘Best of Bike’ in Salzburg. Instead they started their own show named Fahrrad Ordertage. Last year Fahrrad Ordertage debuted on the fairground in Wels. After this successful first event Arge Fahrrad announces now details on this year’s Fahrrad Odertage. The biggest news is that the show will be held for the first time before Eurobike 2016.

Fahrrad Ordertage 2nd edition

The 2016 Austrian bike show will open its doors from 21 to 24 August. One week later Eurobike starts; on August 31 and runs to September 4. According to Arge Fahrrad, which is part of the Austrian sporting goods industry association VSSÖ, the decision for a second edition of Fahrrad Ordertage in Wels is based on several reasons, “Next to good traffic connection by car and public transport it’s the entire package we offer to visitiors. This includes free car parking, free WIFI and catering services offering free food and drinks to sporting and bicycle trade visitors.” In Austria there are numerous sporting goods retailers balancing their winter sports business with bicycle sales in summer.

Content and program

Currently Arge Fahrrad members are working on the content and program of Fahrrad Ordertage 2016. Arge Fahrrad members are Bike & Sports, Bosch eBike Systems, Cycling Sports Group (CSG), Derby Cycle, EHS, Faber, Funbike, Giant, Hercules, Kettler, KTM Fahrrad, Sail & Surf, Scott Sports, Simplon, Thalinger-Lange and Winora Group.
