The completely renewed Ultegra groupset is the big news from Shimano at this year’s Eurobik. Ultegra road racing component have been completely revamped to an increased level of perfection, similar to the improvements made in the new Dura-Ace 7900 series.

The design of the Ultegra 6700 series is inspired by aerodynamics, with a   duotone silver color finish. Weight of the group has been reduced with over 150 grams compared to the previous 6600 series. Ultegra offers a wide range of component options to suit all kinds of road cyclists, from enthusiasts to hard-core racers.

On the Ultegra level Shimano now also launches special pedals: PD-6700, PD-R670. Thezse new pedals are perfect for Elite and other serious riding because they feature the extra wide platform which creates a much more efficient power transfer and compared to traditional pedal systems. Besides the 6700 cosmetics, these pedals also have the usual features like adjustable entry and release tension settings, and stainless steel body cover plate for the optimum performance.

New to the Ultegra level pedal family is PD-A600 SPD pedal, which combines performance& light weight with the SPD functionality allowing the use of recessed style shoe soles, and more comfortable cleat engagement of the pedal system combined with walkabillity like our off-road systems. As a result we can say the new A600 is the ideal multipurpose performance pedal usable any onroad purpose from Granfondo till racing.
