PFORZHEIM, Germany (August 2) – After it’s insolvency in March 2005, custom builder Bergwerk is celebrating a comeback. A quartet of private investors took over after presenting receiver Holger Blümle a concept “based on synergy and constancy”.
One of these private investors – Stefan Niedermair – is now GM of the new formed Bergwerk Cycles GmbH. Former Bergwerk GM Sükrü Gürses remains in the company and will overlook day-to-day business together with Werner Zebisch.
According to the new GM Niedermair, high-end supplier Bergwerk Cycles will continue its own frame production. For the company comeback the new owners first invested in renovating the company showroom at the headquarters in Pforzheim.More info: www.bergwerk-bikes.de (JB)
