Manitou Dorado Pro For DH and Big Mountain

The 2010 version of the Manitou Dorado Pro has extended the range of this fork from the original downhill race to a very capable park, free-ride, and big mountain fork. It features 7050 aluminum legs and utilizes the same internals as the Dorado MRD carbon version.

With premium durability, the Dorado Pro maintains its World Cup DH race pedigree. The added strength of the 7050 aluminum legs has made it a more all-round fork. Updates for 2010 include an improved two-chamber, large-volume, low-pressure air spring which simplifies set-up and optimizes fork performance.

The air spring pressure is now tuned by using a single valve at the top of the fork eliminating the second valve at the bottom of the leg. The pressure in the two chambers auto-equalizes when a shock pump is connected offering ease of set up by adding and/or bleeding off air from the top. Also, all mount hardware features high grade bolts with deep hex broaches offering an improved tool interface, and the brake line guide has been improved for optimum routing.

The 2010 Dorado Pro is handmade in Manitou’s US facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Manitou Circus line up features new technologies designed specifically for dirt jump and slope-style applications. The Circus jump fork outperforms it predecessors in price and weight. Along with Manitou’s proven absolute plus damping system, these forks can handle the biggest jumps possible. The Circus Expert features ABS+, lockout and rebound adjust, double bottom out bumpers and comes in a 80, 100 and 130 millimetre.
