Jack Oortwijn Appointed Editor-in-Chief of Benelux Dealer Magazine Tweewieler

DOETINCHEM, the Netherlands – As of January 1, 2011 Jack Oortwijn (photo) will be responsible for the editorial content of ‘Tweewieler’, the bike trade magazine for the Benelux markets. He will remain editor-in-chief of Bike Europe, the international trade magazine for the bicycle industry that, like Tweewieler, is published by Reed Business BV.

The appointment of a new editor-in-chief for Tweewieler comes after a restructuring operation by publisher Reed Business BV. It results also in the fact that the current editor-in-chief of Tweewieler, Arnauld Hackmann, will leave the company.

The restructuring operation leads to the merger of the editorial staffs of Tweewieler and Bike Europe into one team. This team is responsible for the content of both magazines as well as the Tweewieler and Bike Europe Newsletters and websites.

The new Tweewieler editor-in-chief is since 1985 working in the bicycle industry. Jack Oortwijn was previously editor-in-chief of Tweewieler for the period 1986 to 1997. Since then he has worked as editor-in-chief of Bike Europe.
