DOETINCHEM, the Netherlands – The weeks ahead of the start of the holiday season seems to be the right time for people to pursue a new challenge and move to another organization. Panther International, Humpert, Bosch eBike system and Ridley reported:

Panther International GmbH hired bicycle specialist Ralf Stapela as new sales director as of 1 July 2015. The true cycling enthusiast has been in the bicycle industry for 26 years and has a comprehensive experience in retail, sales and sales management. Ralf Stapela previously worked for among them Derby Cycle and Cycle Union.

Handlebar specialist Humpert announced a new addition to his Ergotec sales team. Christoph Hesterberg is taking over the international OEM and wholesale business from Maik Geletneky who left the company last April. In the past four years Hesterberg was employed by Alfred Thun GmbH as Key Account Manager international sales of bicycle components.

Consequently Belgium high-end bicycle manufacturer Ridley Bikes recently hired Maik Geletneky as Sales Manager for Europe. Ridley reports that his experience in the bicycle industry will also be very helpful to establish the reputation of Ridley Bikes as being an innovative top-class brand, also for off-road bikes.

Bosch eBike system appointed three new retail advisors. Since 1 May 2015, Mark Haylett is Bosch’s industry expert in the advice and training of bicycle dealers regarding maintenance, service and sales in the UK.

In Austria Jürgen Wöss has been working as a consultant for Bosch eBike system since June 1, 2015. He has many years of experience in cycling and organizing product training.

Former bike mechanic Ronald Koenen was hired as retail advisors for the eastern provinces in Belgium and the Netherlands. Nanne Faas will continue as retail consultant and trainer western parts of both countries.
