Start-Up Accessory Maker Gets Millions in Capital Raising Campaign
SHENZHEN, China – The intelligent bicycle riding device manufacturer Livall has raised a combined fund of € 11.7 million in an opening round of a capital raising campaign. Venture capital firm ChinaEquity Group led the financing in the one year old start-up, headquartered in Shenzen.
Livall’s Tour de France sponsoring gave the company a nationwide coverage during the most important cycling race. The company develops and manufactures Bling branded helmets equipped with a camera, phone holders and Nano cadence sensors. The helmets feature an integrated communication platform allows cycling groups to talk or chat, collect data, and share it on social media.
Crowdfund raising platform
Livall also joined the crowdfund raising platform on JD.com, one of China’s leading e-commerce websites with 4,590 individual investors. In a bid to roll out new products, the company has announced to team up with carbon fibre bicycle producer ZGL. In order to enter into the North America market, Livall announced to join the world’s top fundraising platform Indiegogo.
