Robot Alloy Welders by Shuz Tung
TAIPEI, Taiwan – At the Taipei Cycle show Shuz Tung Machinery presented OTC robot welders for the production of alloy frames for e-bikes as well as sports bicycles. A Shuz Tung TIG welding robot is able to produce 80 frame sets per 8-hour work shift.
The robot made frames come without rear frames as welding them by robot is, according to Shuz Tung not possible due to too little space.
Shuz Tung also in Hydroforming
For the production of alloy frames Shuz Tung Machinery, located in Taiwan, also offers laser-cutting machinery for alloy tubing. In addition, the company also offers hydroforming equipment. With this technology tubes for making aluminium frames can be made according to specific designs and shapes. Shuz Tung claims that it has delivered hydroforming machinery to the new Portugal base Triangles alloy frame facility.
