Bike Industrys Positive Mood Reflects on Eurobike

In four editions this Eurobike Countdown Newsletter will inform you weekly about the latest developments around the most important show of the bike industry. This year Eurobike visitors will meet with the considerably expanded show grounds of Messe Friedrichshafen which now includes a total of 14 halls, in addition to the east and west entrances and open-air exhibition grounds.

“Together they provide plenty of space to showcase a global who’s who of the cycling industry”, says Messe Friedrichshafen’ Director Klaus Wellmann. “The trade show concept is systematically and strictly devoted to meeting industry needs. Eurobike’s pace is always set by the content of its supporting program, like the different test courses, the Bike Fashion Show, and the Eurobike Awards”.

The event will start with the third Eurobike Demo Day. It will take place on Tuesday, September 1, in Ratzenried, a township of Argenbühl in Germany’s Allgäu region. The area offers a great variety of test driving conditions. Next to bikes new accessories will also be available for practical testing. The exhibition grounds in Ratzenried are located near the A96 Autobahn (Lindau-Münich) about 50 km from the show grounds in Friedrichshafen. As in 2008, there will be marked routes for each demo category.
