Taichung Gearing Up for Industry’s Bike Week
TAICHUNG, Taiwan – Thanks to its concept of low profile presentations for product managers, Taichung Bike Week keeps growing. On November 5 – 8, Taichung Bike Week will take place once again in Taiwan.
“No other country in our industry has something that equals TBW and it is of growing importance for the Taiwanese bicycle industry”, says initiator and co-organizer Steve Fenton. “The strength of TBW is the low profile presentation as well as the extremely low cost and efficient business opportunity.”
Once started as an informal get together of product managers and their suppliers, the Taichung Bike Week (TBW) has grown into a major event for the global bicycle industry. During the 2013 edition, some 275 exhibitors, spread over three hotels, will present their latest OEM innovations for MY 2015 to product managers from all over the world.
Formosa 900 event
From a visitor’s point of view Fenton attributes the success to the schedule in November and the flexibility of the organization to adjust to the needs of product managers. Last year it was moved forward by two weeks to meet the schedule of many product managers. This year TBW is one week earlier, giving attendees the opportunity to participate in the Formosa 900, a nine day cycling tour around the island.
