OutDoor Show Stays in Friedrichshafen

MUNICH, Germany – Messe Friendrichshafen has won a major battle over the OutDoor Show with its competitors in other German cities like Munich. This morning at the Munich ISPO sporting goods show the European Outdoor Group (EOG) announced the outcome of their decision: and that is to continue staging OutDoor on the shores of Lake Constance from 2009 to 2013.

This decision is of big importance to Messe Friedrichshafen which is also organizing the Eurobike Show, currently the biggest bike show in the world. OutDoor is the second largest show Messe Friedrichshafen is organizing; Eurobike is its biggest.

Messe Friedrichshafen has over the past 14 years organized OutDoor and turned it into one of the leading European trade fairs with worldwide relevance. Since 1994 the number of visitors and exhibitors have been more than tripled. The next OutDoor show will take place from July 17 until 20.
