VERONA, Italy – In an attempt to regain leadership in Italy’s international bike show schedule; industry association ANCMA moved the location for its EICA show from Milan to Verona and changed the dates to mid September; just after Eurobike.

Not surprisingly ANCMA has chosen the Verona Fiere Exhibition Centre for their EICA international bicycle show. In January their international motorcycle show takes place in the same venue. ‘Verona’ also meets market demand as 41% of bike sales are concentrated in the North Eastern provinces of Veneto, Trentino Alto Adige, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Emilia Romagna.

Show in combination with cycling events

The EICA 2012 is set to be a show in combination with several cycling events. Visitors can test the 2013 models themselves on the former World Championship track. MTB test riders can go to the nearby circuit Trophy XC Verona surrounding the walls of Castel San Pietro on Torricelle.
With the support of the City of Verona also city bikes will be put in the spotlights during ‘Ecological Day’ on Sunday September 16.

EICA 2012 will take place from September 15-17.
