TAIPEI, Taiwan – The World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) debates “The Future of Manufacturing” in Taipei on December 2 and 3, 2013.

Last Seats for “Future of Manufacturing” Forum
One of the issues to be discussed at the “The Future of Manufacturing” forum: additive manufacturing (3D printing).

Leading global brands; New Balance, Apache Footwear, bluesign technologies AG, DE SMA and Porsche Consulting GmbH will share their views on future product manufacturing and engineering, innovative manufacturing in industrial sustainability, political and macroeconomic perspectives and additive manufacturing (3D printing).

Companies from the bike sector attending the Forum in Taipei are (among others) BMC, Cannondale Sports Group (CSG) from Dorel Industries, Orbea, Cervelo, 3TCycling and DT Swiss.

“The audience will have the opportunity to explore and analyze value exchanges across their network from a multi-stakeholder perspective in one of the workshops we offer,” says Robbert de Kock, Secretary General of the WFSGI. “But people have to apply quickly as we have only a limited number of seats available.”
