Great Interest in Omni-Channel Conference at Eurobike

FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany – There’s great interest in the  Bike Europe Conference on Omni-Channel that takes place August 29 at Messe Friedrichshafen; one day before Eurobike 2017 starts. Thanks to that interest level and the big number of people that want to participate, this Conference takes place in 2 Rooms which will be turned into one during the event.

The  Bike Europe Conference on Omni-Channel is scheduled to take place in Rooms Berlin and Paris at the Conference Center East of Messe Friedrichshafen. The two Rooms are connected and can be turned into one for being able to occupy over 200 participants.

Transformation of EU bike market

That there’s a vast interest for this Conference is because here it will be presented where the EU bike market is heading for in the next years. The bike market is transforming due to changing consumer behaviour with ever more Internet browsing and online ordering consumers. These changes are triggering a focus shift – from dealers to consumers. New business models are needed to survive this retail evolution. Omni-Channel is one approach now being considered, or cautiously applied, by many.

Conference theme

The theme of the Bike Europe Conference is “Facing the Challenges of Omni-Channel; from traditional retail to customer journey.” A series of expert speakers will dig deep in todays and tomorrow role of retail. Will that role change from drop-shipping, what currently is being applied, into the conversions of leads? Next to that Omni-Channel and consumer direct purchasing programs will have a serious impact on the supply chain of the bike industry; on manufacturing as well as shipping of products. Keynote speakers will put this in perspective also by sketching parallels with other sectors where the Omni-Channel transformation is already taking place.

Target groups & participation

The Bike Europe Conference targets top managers; CEO’s, COO’s, MD’s, and decision makers of bicycle and e-bike manufacturers in Europe, US, and Asia; purchasing, procurement, supply chain directors, and managers; CEO’s, COO’s, and MD’s of Parts & Accessories manufacturers in Europe, US, and Asia; decision makers at retail chains, retail cooperatives, retail franchisers, as well as industry associations and stakeholders.

Participation Fee

The Bike Europe Omni-Channel Conference is targeting all (trade) visitors of Eurobike. The Conference starts on August 29 at 13.00 and ends at 17.00. Next to a series of keynote speakers the Agenda includes Questions & Answer sessions. After the closing of the Conference drinks and finger-foods will be served for offering networking opportunities.

The participants fee is set at €195. However, currently there’s discount being applied for early bookings. Registering before July 1, 2017 results in a participants fee of only €165. For paying Bike Europe subscribers to the magazine the participants fee is set at €145.
