ZIV: German Bike Market Down 15% in 2001
COLOGNE, Germany (March 26) - Shipments of bicycles to dealers and department stores in Germany dropped "Close to 15% in 2001", said ZIV president Rolf Lemberg during last week's Media Congress in Cologne. According to the German industry association 'Zweirad Industrie Verband' (ZIV) total shipments (which is home production plus imports minus exports) dropped 14.7%
