16th China Cycle Show: Huge, but Less Visitors from Europe
SHANGHAI, China - The 2006 Shanghai Show (which still has one day to go) is with a total surface of 85,000 m2 and with 4,300 stands the biggest ever. However, despite the fact that all the halls are filled of the new Shanghai Expo Centre, this year's China Cycle is not the most successful one to date. Main problem of the show was not the Easter weekend, but the fact that Spring has not arrived in a big way in Europe yet. Because of that sales didn't take off and all the channels are still fully stocked. Result is that many buyers cancelled their meetings with suppliers here in Shanghai at the last moment.
