Ansmann Expands Rechargeable Battery System Range

ASSAMSTADT, Germany - With two newly developed integrable rechargeable batteries, Ansmann is expanding its broad product range offering designers and manufacturers of e-bikes. These new types of solutions offer standard applications for rapid and cost-effective implementation. Both can be realised and configured to individual customer requirements.

For the first time, the rechargeable battery experts Ansmann presents at Eurobike a fully integrable in-tube rechargeable battery. It can not only be permanently installed in the closed frame but can also be offered as a removable solution if the customer prefers. Equipped with 20 cells and a diameter of just 50 millimetres and length of 437 millimetres, including integrated motor controller, it is ideally suited to space-saving integration in the frame.

At the same time, the compact energy bundle brings up to 252 Wh of power to the street. The rechargeable battery, which is ideally suited to use in minimalistic concepts, for example in urban e-bikes, also offers the necessary flexibility for the implementation of individual special solutions thanks to its weight of just 1.5 kilograms.

Large integral rechargeable battery

For the first time Ansmann is presenting a large integral rechargeable battery, developed in-house and adapted to the precise requirements of the E-Mobility industry. The special feature: it can be cascaded and linked via a BUS system. In this way it combines the latest rechargeable battery technology with a well thought out design and high-tech charging electronics.

Measurubg 83 x 52 x 392 millimetres and a weight of 2.8 kilograms, the power pack provides up to 504 Wh (individually) of power. The slim design and high-power rating open up a wide range of applications enabling it to be used in electric pedal scooters, e-scooters and electric cargo bikes. Individual adaptations are also child’s play thanks to its modular construction.
