Production Relocation; What About Turkey as Country’s Bike Export Grows Rapidly?

ISTANBUL, Turkey – The Turkish bicycle industry is rapidly growing its export to Europe. For that export the EU and Turkey are linked by a Customs Union agreement since 1995. Turkey has been a candidate country to join the EU since 1999 and is a member of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership. All this provides the country duty-free access to the EU markets for many of Turkey's most important products including (electric) bikes, P&A as well as alloy frames. Here is an overview of what takes place in terms of bikes in the country that connects Europe with the Middle East.
