ISO/TS 4210-10 only a technical specification, not a standard
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The existing ISO 4210 safety standard for bicycles was supposed to be extended with a new paragraph on e-bikes. On 1 September ISO officially published this Part 10, but not as a standard, but a technical specification. While the new 'technical specification' still includes the safety requirements for electrically power assisted cycles (EPACs) it does not have the same status as a standard.
