Selle Royal supports symposium on urban mobility MobilitARS

MILAN, Italy – “In 2020 people have come to understand the value of e-bikes and bicycles as an alternative for mobility and an opportunity to improve personal well-being,” states Selle Royal Group project leader Monica Savio explaining the main reason for the Italian company to support the first edition of MobilitARS, a digital symposium on urban mobility. This first of a series of four events will start tomorrow, February 3rd.

National and international experts will discuss the city of the future, considering mobility, sustainability and overall well-being. Imagine the city of the future, one that is both healthier and more liveable, designed around the needs of its people: this is the focal point of MobilitARS.

Help to promote cycling culture

This digital event is free and open to all, developed for those who want to make a difference: administrators, university students, technicians, professionals and anyone committed to making their cities better places to live. “This same vision of social and environmental responsibility is fully shared by the Selle Royal Group as they help to promote cycling culture throughout Italy,” says Monica Savio.

2020 was a turning point for the bike industry, with great growth not only in terms of sales, but also from a cultural and social point of view. It’s this dynamic that is transforming the habits of individuals and cities and is the source of a large initiative stimulated and supported by us. MobilitARS is an important tool aimed at transforming this dynamic into a cultural movement and expanding daily good practices with a concrete impact on people’s lives and localities.”

The Selle Royal Group is official co-partners of MobilitARS which will take place on Wednesday 3, 10, 17, 24 February 2021, from 9.00 am.
