PARIS, France – Probably the last company you would expect to use steel as a frame material; French look. But still these have chosen this material to built the bike that will be used in Laszlo Bodrogi’s attempt. Bodrogi, a Hungarian rider, will use the same angles as on his LOOK 496 CLM time trail machine, but this time only the front forks will be in carbon fibre. Tests in the French Saint-Cyr wind tunnel complex have proven steel tubes, with the classic diameter of 28 mm to have the least drag. Back to the future?
