    AcerMPS launches mid-motor for cargo and mtb's

    TAIPEI, Taiwan - Mobile Power System (MPS), an Acer Group subsidiary, is a lithium-ion battery pack designer and e-bike propulsion system solution provider. At Taipei Cycle show this year the company displayed its new 90 Nm mid-motor for cargobikes and MTB categories.

    China Cycle 2024 brings next indication of first steps to market recovery

    SHANGHAI, China - During the bustling China Cycle 2024, which took place from May 5-8, insiders gave the first, cautious indications of a market recovery for the industry. That was in line with the positive signals heard at Sea Otter Classic which took place a week earlier in Monterey, California. Unlike the struggle with excess inventory in Europe and North America, China is experiencing a recreation cycling boom.

    COLOGNE, Germany - As the first bicycle industry company in Germany, ZEG has successfully been recertified by European sustainability auditor, EMAS. The bicycle dealer cooperative Zweirad-Einkaufs-Gemeinschaft (ZEG) has demonstrated the role that environmental management has played at its headquarters in Cologne. This is also to become more important in ZEG's member companies across Germany.

    Piaggio Group receives state aid to stimulate domestic production

    PONTEDERA, Italy - The new Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy which has been established by the current Italian government, has approved a development contract submitted by the domestic two-wheeler giant Piaggio Group. The contract includes an investment plan of around €112 million for the expansion of production at the Piaggio plant in Pontedera in the province of Pisa, Italy.

    TAIPEI, Taiwan - Similar to the advanced collision-avoidance radar systems found in vehicles, Terasilic's new Bike Radar Sensor utilises cutting-edge 24GHz radar sensing technology. Launched at this year's Taipei Cycle show, the technology enables the sensor to detect objects up to 190 metres behind the cyclist.

    Internetstores insolvency finalised as future of key assets are secured

    MUNICH, Germany - After quickly realizing not to be able to find a buyer for the entire insolvent Internetstores Group the appointed insolvency administrator Dr. Christian Gerloff started selling key assets of the former online retail giant. This process has now been finalised. "All of Internetstores GmbH's key brands now have the chance to restart under new ownership," confirms Gerloff.
