TURKU, Finland (13 June 2000)–Beginning on 31 July Tuntrade OY will no longer distribute Shimano products on the Finnish market. Tuntrade OY, a daughter company of Finnish bike maker Tunturi, has been Shimano’s distributor for the last three years. The Japanese component manufacturer’s new distributor will be Hallman Sports OY, headquartered in Turku. Hallman Sports, a subsidiary of Shimano’s Swedish distributor in Uppsala, has plans to set up a sales office in Helsinki in the near future. (JW)
