AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (12 July 2000)–The Dutch motorcycle and scooter show MotorRAI 2000 has been canceled. Scheduled for October, the organizers announced that the number of exhibitors were not up to par with expectations. Not entirely satisfied with last year’s show, the Japanese Three–Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha–had already announced that they would not take part in this year’s show.
MotoRAI organizer RAI said that the 2001 show will be held as scheduled. It is currently compiling a questionnaire which it will send to its members to gain insight as to what they expect for future MotorRAIs. (JW)
