MANCHESTER, UK 19 december – Concept Cycling Ltd. enjoyed record sales (and profits) during october and november. Steven Walsh expects the full year sales will top GBP 15 million, which means a 30% growth. “In october we took over the factory premises and the workforce of Euro Cycles Ltd. plus a new 100,000 sq. ft warehouse. We have installed a third fully-automatic wheelbuilding line. The new factory gives us a further 400 bicycles-a-day capacity to keep up with dealers’ demand”. Asked whether Concept was now the new nr. 1 UK supplier of bicycles, Wals said: “That’s not our goal. We only want to give our customers what they want and that’s exactly what we are focusing on.” (OB)
