HONG KONG – Bicycles and lifestyle have often been linked with each other, especially during the heydays of mountainbiking. Since then the bike industry has been searching for new icons. A new bicycle life style might arise with the entrance of the highly successful NeilPryde windsurfing brand on the bicycle market.

The Pryde Group, owner of the brand NeilPryde, has announced the launch of a new division focused on performance road bikes. “The NeilPryde range will contain elegantly engineered, premium bikes”, stated the Pryde Group.

The new brand will be launched in mid-2010 and sold directly to consumers and dealers via internet. For sales as well as the customer service program, NeilPryde has adopted an online business model.

The Pryde Group is a Hong Kong based Sports Group composed of three key business platforms – manufacturing, distribution and brand management. The company is focused on performance, premium quality, style and a winning attitude.

Pryde Group products are sold into more than 40 countries worldwide through a network of wholly owned distribution companies and strategic distribution partners. Initially devised as a logistics network for the company’s own products, the Pryde Group now offers access to more than 3,500 retailers.
