ZURICH, Switzerland – Last week Swiss retail giant Migros opened a first e-Mobility concept store under its M-Way label for electric vehicles in downtown Zurich. The concept store has its focus on a variety of attractive e-Mobility two and four wheelers.
With a yearly turnover of close to CHF 25 billion (€ 17.7 bn) Migros is Switzerland’s largest retailer and parent company of (among others) bicycle, outdoor and sporting goods chain SportXX. With its e-Mobility concept store the retail specialist shows that it is taking the business opportunities e-Mobility offers extremely serious.
In the on October 22 opened store at the Gotthardstrasse 6 corporate customers and consumers can explore the current offering in electric mobility. Next to the e-Vehicles multimedia screens, other e-Products and a unique library explain where electricity is coming from; how batteries operate and how e-Mobility made it to where it currently stands.
The concept store has its focus on a good variety of attractive electric two and four wheelers; from e-Cars to e-Motorcycles as well as e-Bikes. All in all Migros’ e-Mobility store has 9 e-Models on display which all come with numerous options. In about six months the M-Way e-Mobility vehicles and products will also be available through the company’s online platform; www.m-way.ch
