FSA and Vision Expand Wheelset Range

Full Speed Ahead, better known as FSA, has expanded its offering in wheelsets by adding the Team Issue and K-Force to its range. The component company is also expanding the range in wheelsets under its Vision brand name.

Full Speed Ahead, better known as FSA, has expanded its offering in wheelsets by adding the Team Issue and K-Force to its range. The component company is also expanding the range in wheelsets under its Vision brand name.

The FSA Team issue wheelset comes with extra light 24mm Carbon Alloy rims for clinchers. There are new extralight Team Issue hubs, CNC machined for DP spokes with 6 sealed cartridge bearings (2 F + 4 R) mounted on a 17mm hub axle diameter. Spokes are Sapim extra light bladed with external nipples for easy maintenance. The wheel is Artisan built, entirely by hand and includes Mercury aluminium. Weight of the Team Issue set stands a 1,400g.

The FSA K-Force has carbon wheels with 50mm deep section tubular rims. Like the Team Issue there are extra light hubs for DP spokes. The front hub has a carbon body and aluminium flange; full rear CNC machined aluminium body. They come with 6 ceramic bearings (2 F + 4 R) mounted on a 17mm hub axle diameter. The weight for the FSA K-Force is an exceptional 1,390g for the pair.

Under the Vision brand name FSA brings the Trimax T42 and Trimax Pro wheelsets. The T42 has extra light 42mm carbon alloy rims for clinchers with the new extra light hubs for DP spokes that come with the 6 sealed cartridge bearings (2 F + 4 R) mounted on a 17mm hub axle diameter. The wheels are built with an 18 radial spoke lacing for the front wheel; 21 rear wheel, 14 cross x2 drive side and 7 radial non drive side. They are Sapim aero bladed spokes. Weight of the Trimax T42 wheelset stands at 1.700grams.

The Vision Trimax Pro has alloy 30mm clincher rims with CNC braking surface and CNC machined aluminium hubs that come with 6 sealed cartridge bearings (2 F + 4 R) mounted on a 17mm hub axle diameter. The aero bladed Spaim spokes are 20 radial front wheel; 24 rear wheel, cross x2 drive side and radial non drive side. The rims are shiny black anodized and the hubs in storm grey anodized with black spokes. Weight of the Vision Trimax Pro set stands at 1,520grams.
