BAD NAUHEIM, Germany – Bicycle component manufacturer and e-bike technology developer the JD Group, is expanding sales responsibilities at its European headquarters to include its line of high quality aluminium bicycle parts – TranzX Components.
The JD Europe office in Bad Nauheim, Germany, opened in 2008 to provide the company’s European clients with easier access to sales, technical service, training, and support services for TranzX PST, the company’s electric bicycle drive system. The European operations helped the company expand its share of the electric bicycle market and provide its e-bike technology to a number of popular European bicycle brands.
The subsidiary’s central location also allows the company to nurture current sales relationships providing immediate assistance, quicker service, and more direct personal contact to its European clients and partners. Now JD has decided to integrate these advantages into the sales of TranzX Components and the European sales team will be charged with further expanding TranzX’s European presence.
TranzX Components was first introduced in 1992 and has been spec’ed by many established clients, for their own branded bicycles. The company’s adjustable stem, for making changes to handlebar height and position without the use of tools is one example. It is expected that JD’s decision to expand sales responsibility for TranzX Components to its European offices will make customer service for OEMs and partners easier and more effective.
“We are delighted that advantages of our European operations can also be used for TranzX Components’ clients. With the expansion of our sales network, we will be able to provide professional and customer-oriented service for each of our key European regions,” said TranzX Components product manager, Lily Ding.
“Clients and distributors can count on our local reliable staff, who have perfect knowledge of our product range, their particular region, and can respond to all country-specific issues and demands.”
The combination of the e-bike technologies (TranzX PST) and high-quality bicycle components (TranzX Components) will also enable the company to offer more convenience and better service for its OEM clients who will now be able to source their components directly through the European office.
