SRAM Improves Aftermarket Customer Relations

CHICAGO, USA – To improve serving its aftermarket customers and leverage resources to broaden their aftermarket product line SRAM formalized an aftermarket function. It will include aftermarket related Sales and Product Management for aftermarket related products.

Jason West (photo) is promoted to Vice President of Retail Sales and Aftermarket Product, and will be part of the SRAM Senior Management Team. In searching for the right person to lead this effort, SRAM Senior Management balanced product development experience, operational skills, customer experience and familiarity with acquisition process and integration.

Jason began his career with SRAM in 1996 as Quality Manager of the SRAM Chicago factory. He has worked in many capacities since then including Factory Manager, Product Team Leader, he led the RockShox integration, and was most recently Category Manager of Suspension.

Jason will integrate immediately on to the Senior Management team and transition to the role over the next several months. John Nedeau will continue as Vice President Sales and Customer Service responsible for all Bike Brand and OEM business. Mike Mercuri will continue as Vice President of Product and Marketing, and Tim Smith will continue as Vice President Engineering and Design.
