Finnish Component Maker Herrmans to Open Warehouse in Taichung

JAKOBSTAD, Finland – In order to meet requests from its OEM customers with production in Taiwan and South East Asia which want faster deliveries, Finnish component maker Herrmans is opening a warehouse in Taichung, Taiwan. It will be operational with ample stock next August.

According to Herrmans’ sales manager Ronny Höglund, the Taichung warehouse will reduce lead time for OEMs in the Asian/Pacific region to 3-10 days. This depends on whether the required parts are on stock as well as on the production location of the ordering OEM.

The warehouse is stationed in the duty free zone of Taichung. The range in stock will be based on customer demands. Operations (ordering and invoicing) will run through Herrmans HQ in Jakobstad, Finland.
