Rivolta Celebrates 60th Anniversary

PESSANO CON BORNAGO, Italy – It has reached its 60’est anniversary, but is just as fast-paced as ever: the Rivolta Group with Italian roots and international spirit. In 1951, Aristide Rivolta started the company which still bears his name.

The commercialization of Tip Top was the first of a long series of entrepreneurial ideas which led to the creation, over the years, of a Group with many different faces, today managed by Fabrizio Rivolta.

Whilst Rivolta reaches 60 years, Italy celebrates the 150 years since its unification. To commemorate the two anniversaries the Rivolta Group is sponsoring the exhibition ‘Donna è sport 1861-2011’ (Women in sport 1861-2011).

It is a photographic and multimedia exhibition with photos, articles, historical reproductions, memorabilia and monographic sections. The aim is to highlight the fascinating profile of the ‘new’ Italian women, through sport history. The exhibition takes place from June to September 2011 at the Museo del Risorgimento in Milan, Palazzo Moriggia, via Borgonuovo 23.

The ‘first’ 60 Rivolta years has been a success story. A story made up of ideas, and above all, people: today Rivolta Group has a total of 500 business partners in Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland and France.

For this special occasion a commemorative logo of the anniversary has been created representing the elements that are unmistakable Rivolta style.
