Raleigh Shows Revived Diamondback

Diamondback has been a huge name in the sport of BMX and Mountain Biking since 1978. Raleigh, owners of Diamondback since 1997, has invested in new technology to revive the US West Coast brands image and sales across Europe. The revived Diamondback will be on display at Eurobike.

Neal Holdsworth, Managing Director of MTI explains “Since Eurobike last year, we have been working with Diamondback to establish a new network of distributors. In a difficult economic climate, we have successfully re-established Diamondback in Germany, Poland, Greece, Spain, Portugal and Finland.”

John Macnaughtan, Managing Director of Raleigh International, said: “Diamondback is recognised for innovation in BMX and mountain bikes and the new 2012 range is no exception. New technology such as the full suspension ‘Knucklebox’ system (www.knucklebox.com), strength-enhanced lightweight components and the gravity beating frame designs mean Diamondback is delivering modern bikes for the modern rider. The latest Diamondback line has been enhanced with direct feedback from team riders, so the 2012 range is truly a range developed by riders for riders! ”

Neal Holdsworth continues: “Teaming up with Diamondback is a very exciting opportunity for any distributor as the brand has strong recognition throughout the world. As a distributor you will benefit from the ability to buy direct from source or ex-UK warehouse, being able to tap into advertising, merchandising and catalogues, the new interactive website and a supporting DB BMX accessory range.

A selection of new 2012 products will be on display at the Diamondback Eurobike booth near Raleigh.
