Winora Show Follow up of Eurobike
SCHWEINFURT, Germany – Last weekend the German Winora Group, part of the Accell Group, welcomed nearly 2,500 people for its in-house exhibition. For the first time this annual event took place at the company’s new facility which was opened last April.
The Winora Group, which includes the bicycle brands Haibike, Staiger, Winora and Sinus presented their complete 2013 ranges together with more than 50 suppliers of Winora’s wholesale division E. Wiener Bike Parts GmbH. The event covered an area of 6,500 square meters.
Eurobike remains leading
“This concept is very successful for us”, said Susanne Puello Managing Director of the Winora Group. “The Eurobike remains the leading exhibition for us. However, the hustle and the hectic atmosphere in Friedrichshafen make it hardly possible to have good discussions. Especially for our growing international customer base, we have the created a friendly and very constructive platform with this event.”
The Winora in-house show can be regarded as a follow up of Eurobike. While the Friedrichshafen show is packed and hectic, the versatility of the full-range presented at Winora’s own event is considered to be the most attractive advantage for retailers. Here they can spend sufficient time with their account manager to discuss orders for 2013.
50 parts and accessory suppliers
Also for the more than 50 parts and accessory suppliers of E. Wiener Bike Parts this event is an important continuation of the busy Eurobike were retailers hardly have the time to take notice of all new products.
The retailers also appreciated the side program of the event. Besides the mountainbike rides with the new e:i shock suspension system, numerous retailers took part in the TechTalks, made a test ride on the ExtraEnergy track or sat down for the presentation by the extreme biker Maximilan Semsch.
