Investor H Intressenter Wants to Acquire Höganäs
HOGANAS, Sweden – Following investor’s H Intressenter public offer to buy all shares in Höganäs last February, H Intressenter did a second higher offer per share.
As a result the Board recommends all shareholders in Höganäs to accept the revised offer from H Intressenter. The offer is conditional on, amongst other things, H Intressenter becoming the owner of more than 90 % of the shares of Höganäs. The acceptance period will run until 20 June 2013.
E-bike component manufacturer
Multi-national Höganäs entered the bicycle industry a few years ago with e-bike components and hub motor in particular. Höganäs is one of the world’s leading manufacturer of iron and metal powder. The company develops future automotive components, products for surface coating and brazing as well as systems for sustainable power generation and electric motors. Stock market listed, Höganäs employs 1,700 people around the world.
H Intressenter, which is jointly owned by Lindéngruppen and Foundation Asset Management Sweden, already controls 34.4 % of the shares and 47.9 % of the votes of Höganäs.
According to Höganäs the takeover by H Intressenter will not have any material effects on employment and operations at the locations where Höganäs conducts its operations.
