The Engine Adapts to the Bicycle
BRIOSCO, Italy – The Sunstar S03+ is a small motor that fits over the bottom bracket and transforms any bicycle into e-bike. It is not simply a motor designed for a specific bicycle, but can easily adapt to any frame.
The motor of the Japanse Sunstar S03+ remains located under the bottom bracket, slightly advanced, with three connections. One leads to the battery and a second one connects the center display mounted on the handlebar, to check the battery status and pedal assistance mode.
The third, finally, connects to the engine speed sensor, placed on the rear frame. This whole systems weighs 3.2 kilograms. To fit all bicycles, the battery is available in three different models: central, on the rack or under the seat.
The amperage ranges from 2.5 to 16 Ah, which also reflects the mileage. For example, with the battery on the rear rack (the largest), you can travel up to 95 kilometers in ‘economic’ mode. In the minimal version with the battery under the seat, battery life is up to a maximum of 20 km.
