Accell To Take-Over Cycle Service Nordic
HEERENVEEN, the Netherlands – In today’s trading update Accell Group also announces that it is to take-over the Danish parts & accessories distributor Cycle Service Nordic. Primary business of Cycle Service Nordic is the distribution of SRAM products.
Accell Group is in take-over talks with Cycle Service Nordic. This company has a profitable annual turnover of around € 13 million and a workforce of around 40 people. Cycle Service Nordic has offices in Denmark, Norway and Finland. These offices also function as SRAM Dealer Service Direct (DSD) centers.
SRAM and others
Cycle Service Nordic offers all SRAM components and represents also all SRAM brands: Zipp, Rockshox, Avid, Truvativ and Quarq. Next to SRAM the Odense, Denmark based company also represents, among others, Spanninga, Muc-Off and Hutchinson. Cycle Service Nordic targets dealers, wholesalers as well as bike makers.
2nd distributor take-over this year
The expected take-over of Cycle Service Nordic strengthens Accell’s position in the Nordic countries further where it already owns Tunturi-Hellberg Oy Ltd in Finland. With Cycle Service Nordic Accell Group is taking over the second P&A distributor this year. Last August the holding announced to have taken over Comet in Spain. This distributor has a staff of 60 and an annual turnover of 27 million euro. The Spanish company will be consolidated in Accell Group’s results from 1 November 2014.
